“We chose Data Foundry’s resilient data center facility to house our cloud-based storage solution because it was designed with the utmost redundancy across power, networking, and water feeds,” states Philip Molter, CTO of Golden Frog. “We know we can scale quickly with easy access to a wide variety of carriers and ample room for the deployment of additional storage services and network hardware.”

“Texas 1 offers the resources and scale that global cloud providers, such as Golden Frog, require to support their stringent security requirements and high-capacity connectivity needs,” states Ed Henigin, CTO of Data Foundry. “Our purpose-built facility was carefully planned to accommodate any-size and power requirement, including Golden Frog’s high-density configuration.”

Data Foundry’s Texas 1, a new 250,000 square foot, carrier-neutral data center is powered by dual, independent 400 MW substations and outfitted with the latest generation of equipment with no single point of failure. Texas 1 is the first purpose-built data center constructed on the 40-acre, master-planned Data Ranch development site, offering enterprises, cloud-based providers, and service providers the opportunity for future scalability of their infrastructure.
