Data Foundry Becomes Platinum Sponsor of AITP'S Houston Chapter

HOUSTON – August, 15 2016 – Data Foundry, a leading provider of premier data center colocation and managed services, is pleased to announce its support of the Association of Information Technology Professionals’ (AITP) Houston chapter as the 2016-2017 platinum sponsor. AITP provides a platform for IT professionals to network, mentor, collaborate, grow and continue gaining knowledge in different areas of IT.

As the platinum sponsor, Data Foundry provides a scholarship to help motivated Houston students become future leaders in information technology. The sponsorship also helps fund educational and networking events for IT professionals in the Houston area throughout the year. One of these events is the annual AITP/CIO panel, scheduled for September 29, 2016 from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Houston Racquet Club. This event is highly educational, and students from local AITP student chapters are invited to hear the panel discussion and network with peers in their field.

Data Foundry President, Shane Menking, expresses his support of the organization, “What we appreciate about AITP, and one of the main reasons we like to support them financially, is that they support non-typical students, such as working moms and adults returning to school to gain knowledge in IT and seek better-paying jobs.”
