Grand Opening Celebration for Data Foundry’s Houston 2 Data Center in Houston’s New Tech Corridor
Houston, Texas – October 7, 2015 – Data Foundry is delighted to announce their Grand Opening Celebration of Houston 2, a 350,000 SQ. FT. purpose-built colocation data center. Multi-sport Olympian Carl Lewis, Representative Senfronia Thompson and Mayoral Candidate Sylvester Turner are keynote speakers for the special event, scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in North Houston.
These distinguished speakers will highlight Data Foundry’s investment in revitalizing the Greenspoint District, which has become identified as Houston’s “Tech Corridor.” The opening of Houston 2 is also creating employment opportunities for technical talent from local colleges, including the University of Houston.
Houston 2 is a carrier-neutral data center owned and operated by Data Foundry. This new facility provides colocation, managed services and dedicated office space to businesses requiring uptime, connectivity, and room for growth. Houston 2 is the Company’s second data center in Houston, and it was built as a response to businesses voicing their need for a premium data center in the Houston metroplex.
