Time Lapse Video: Texas 1 Construction

Texas 1, the first purpose-built, carrier-neutral data center in the Central Texas region opened for business on July 20th, 2011.

Texas 1 offers secure colocation and disaster recovery solutions, including dedicated worksite recovery space. Its unique design includes independent and diverse power, water and network feeds with no single point of failure within any of these systems.

The data center’s fully redundant power is fed from two independent substations with a dedicated feed enclosed in an end-to-end, concrete encased duct bank – a rare feature for data centers. The chilled water cooling system enables maximum cooling flexibility from standard single cabinet deployments to high density configurations. Even the most complex High Performance Computing (HPC) environments can be properly cooled and supported within Texas 1. With over 17 network carriers available, Texas 1 also provides customers a variety of carrier-neutral options for their network solution.

We are extremely proud of Texas 1 and the services we offer our customers. Contact us today for a tour of Texas 1.
