Time Lapse Video: Houston 2 Construction

Our premier Houston 2 data center opened for business on July 1, 2015. It is one of the few purpose-built data centers in Houston. Purpose-built, weather-resistant data centers like Houston 2 are ideal for providing disaster recovery services and protecting mission critical equipment in Houston’s climate. Houston 2 has a reinforced, waterproofed steel roof, a depressed concrete foundation with a waterproof membrane and underground telecom and electrical conduits. It is also located above the 500-year flood plain and has a 185 mph wind rating.

Houston 2 offers secure colocation and disaster recovery solutions, including dedicated office space. Onsite amenities include a break room, laundry room, lounge, conference rooms, showers, dedicated office space and dedicated storage options. There is also a large technology briefing room that can hold up to 75 people.

Houston 2 has a chilled water cooling system that enables maximum cooling flexibility from standard single cabinet deployments to high density configurations. Even the most complex High Performance Computing (HPC) environments can be properly cooled and supported within Houston 2. With 14 network carriers available, Houston 2 also provides customers a variety of carrier-neutral options for their network solution. The facility is fully redundant with N+1 chillers and 2N+1 power delivery options available. The power structure supports up to 50 kw per cabinet.

We are extremely proud of Houston 2 and the services we offer our customers. Contact us today for a tour of Houston 2.
