The Austin-Based MSP Moves its Clients’ Servers to Data Foundry’s State-of-the-Art Data Center
Austin, Texas – March 2, 2015 – Vintage IT, an MSP that provides IT and cloud services to Central Texas businesses and government organizations, has chosen Data Foundry as its partner for colocation. This means Vintage IT now houses and runs its customers’ servers and networking equipment in Texas 1, Data Foundry’s flagship data center in Austin, Texas.
Vintage IT has long offered outsourced data center services to its customers. First, by participating in a major cloud services pilot with the State of Texas’ Department of Information Resources (DIR) and then through a partnership with VMware. As the company grew, it simply ran out of physical space at its current location and started looking for a data center partner.

Texas 1 is also SSAE 16 Type II compliant, having successfully completed the rigorous independent audit required of the SSAE 16 standard, which is a regulatory requirement of many of Vintage IT customers.
