Operating a multi-homed network using BGP-4 routing for the fastest path, Data Foundry ensures optimized customer traffic and highest levels of availability and performance.

Blended Internet access means 100% network uptime

Get 100% uptime through our multi-layered redundancy. The Data Foundry network has fully redundant Internet connectivity, giving you reliability, scalability and uptime. More than six of the world’s largest Internet backbones connect directly to the Data Foundry Network, with up to eight redundant, high-capacity fiber networks per market connecting directly to Data Foundry and our customers.

We implement a network architecture that eliminates single points of failure, allowing us to guarantee 100% network uptime. Remote customer access is available via best-in-class Cisco 7500 series routers. Our redundantly-configured Cisco 12000 series routers and Cisco 6500 series switches leverage state-of-the-art silicon and software technologies, resulting in unparalleled service quality and continuous uptime.

Cross-Connect services

All Data Foundry data centers are carrier-neutral, with more than 17 network options available.  Data Foundry’s Austin customers may opt for a redundant POP via a secondary, fiber cross connect between the Texas 1 and ADC data centers.

T1/T3/Metro Ethernet

Data Foundry provides commercial Internet options including full T1, full T3 and Metro Ethernet, all backed by the Data Foundry network.

  • T1 is a dedicated private internet connection supporting a data transfer rate of 1.544 Mbps.
  • T3 is a dedicated private internet connection equivalent in capacity to 28 T1 lines, with a data transfer rate of 45 Mbps.
  • Metro Ethernet, an alternative to T1, allows for internet speeds of up to 100Mbps of dedicated internet access with the simplicity of using Ethernet.

Satellite

If your business requires a satellite network connection, Data Foundry provides concrete-reinforced pads for satellites, as well as roof and tower rights.
