Data Foundry Supports HotSchedules, Inc. in Lowering Cost, Increasing Performance with Microsoft Hyper-V Server Virtualization

Austin, TX, August 26, 2008 — Data Foundry, Inc. announced today that its Data Foundry® data center infrastructure support for client HotSchedules, Inc. has helped facilitate Hotschedules’ early implementation of Microsoft’s Hyper-V virtualization technology and contributed to excellent initial results.

A Data Foundry client since August 2006, HotSchedules enrolled in a Rapid Deployment Program (RDP) for Hyper-V jointly sponsored by Microsoft and Dell earlier this year. HotSchedules was an appealing early adoption target because of their strong hardware ties with Dell, whose server systems are fully qualified to support Hyper-V. Hyper-V virtualization was implemented directly into HotSchedules’ live production environment.

“Since the implementation we have experienced drastic improvements in speed, reliability and scalability which, in the end, has lead to a better user experience for our customers. We feel privileged to be selected as one of the highlighted companies that Microsoft and Dell chose to work with and are equally excited that the improved technology will provide a better end-user experience for our valued customers,” said Ray Pawlikowski of HotSchedules.

“As our clients face the need for expansion, some of their biggest concerns are related to increased footprints and power consumption and their related costs. Hyper-V offers a great answer to those concerns and allows our clients to literally do more with less,” commented Mark Noonan, Vice President of Sales at Data Foundry.
