We are delighted to celebrate with our customers, partners, local businesses and leaders the Grand Opening of our Houston 2 Data Center. We finished construction and commissioning of the 350,000 sq ft purpose built data center on our 18-acre campus in North Houston. Houston 2 is a carrier neutral data center and provides colocation, managed services and dedicated office space to businesses requiring uptime, connectivity and room for growth. This purpose-built data center is Data Foundry’s second location in Houston, which was built as a response to the lack of premium colocation options in the greater Houston metroplex.
Our initial customers have moved in, so now it’s time to thank everyone who contributed to the design, construction and launch of this Premier Data Center. We invite you to join us for all the festivities, which will include networking, distinguished guest speakers, guided tours, and delicious catering by Pappas BBQ.

During the Grand Opening Celebration, guests will be offered guided walks through Houston 2, so that they can see firsthand the features and comforts that were designed for our customers. For colocation deployments, the depressed slab design allows for zero ramps from the loading dock to the white floor space, which is a unique design feature of Houston 2. Customers have the ability to rent and customize 60,000 SQ. FT. of available office space, and they can also enjoy many other amenities: conference rooms, customer lounge, lockers, shower facilities and a 75-person Technology Briefing Center for events and presentations. All of these features are a result of designing a purpose-built data center.
