Co-Founders
Carolyn Yokubaitis, Ron Yokubaitis, Jonah Yokubaitis
It was 1994 – the early days of the Internet – when Carolyn Yokubaitis, Ron Yokubaitis and Jonah Yokubaitis embarked upon an entrepreneurial adventure and co-founded Texas.net, one of the first 50 ISPs in the US, in response to the lack of Internet access options for those who were not a student or government employee.
Offering data storage and server functionality since its inception in 1994, the business has grown and evolved into a multi-faceted company, developing and operating multiple Internet-related businesses including a global Usenet Newsgroups service with subscribers in more than 195 countries, maintaining several petabytes of data storage.
To this day, Data Foundry’s subsidiary Texas.net is an active ISP still owned, operated and managed by Carolyn, Ron and Jonah. Carolyn and Ron are active co-CEOs for Data Foundry, and all three are members on the board of directors for Data Foundry.
